Nature

This is what I learned about nature. 1.Its not that important to cut a tree down because that is where we build desk. 2.A southern pine beetle can eat a lot of trees if they join. 3.Trees can get get disease. That was I learned about nature.

Jefferson

What I learned from Jefferson is 1.Jefferson is haunted because there was murderer in Jefferson ,and there was a girl and a boy the girl’s name was Diamond Bessy but i didn’t know what the boys name was, then the girl went to stay at a friends house for a week ,one week later she died now she haunts the town of Jefferson. 2.There was a Civil War there a lot of people died but they won. . 3.There were some floods there before there were some big ones . That was what I learned in Jefferson.

Water conservation

It’s important to save water resources! The water will disappear if we don’t practice water conservation. You should take a short shower. And you turn the faucet off more quickly. If you water your grass in the day you should do it at night, so you can save water. A ten minute shower will save you 20 gallons. You need to fix your toilets because every hour you could lose 5 gallons a hour. If you do fix your toilets you could save 120 gallons. And we should not make the tub full. Plus we need to put a bucket outside so you can save water.

We need to save our water. If we don’t we will lose our water for a long time.

POD

Davey and Charlie shared half a box of crackers. They each had 20 crackers. How many crackers did the box have when it was full?

I added 20 plus 20 because they each ate 20 crackers. I got 40 but it was not 40 because they each ate half. So I added Davey and Charlie again and I got 80.

Dexter

Hi. My name is Callie. I live in White Oak with my owner’s Max, Taylor, Devin, and Darren. I’ve been having a wonderful life lately, but one day Max’s friend , Riley , came over and they let me outside. I watched them play basketball in the rain. Two hours later , they had to come get me , so I went down the neighborhood. They found me , and , of course I ran off. They chased me around my house, then Breyden White’s house. And next I dug a hole in the fence  and went through . They took  for ever to climb the fence. I hide behind  a bush, and they looked  and looked for me. I bet they felt like they were dumb, but they found me . Yes, I went through the hole in the fence. When they opened the gate, they caught me. Riley carried me. Max saw a dog that had a collar , but didn’t have a name tag, so Max and Riley  ran away from the dog. They had no idea what kind of dog it was. Finally they made it  in the house. The dog was by the garage , so Darren  took a piece of meat out  and threw it in front of him. Of  coarse , he smelled it, ate it , and stopped barking. They let it in and Riley had to leave, so he did. Now back to the dog. Max had no idea what to name it. One day later when Max was coming back from school, he  finally found a name for him, and it was Dexter. When Max came home, he told Devin, Taylor, Darren.  Darren liked , “It”. Devin declared ,  “Sure,” and Taylor said, “No!”  It was 3 to 1, so the dog’s name was Dexter. The next day was Saturday.  Max and Darren spent all day with Dexter and I was so sad and jealous. I crawled under Devin’s and Darren’s beds. That is my life and my story.

Harriet Tubman

Harriet Tubman is one of the most important leaders in American history. To begin with Harriet Tubman was determined to escape slavery since she was only eight years old. Second she was very busy because she had to make a fire in her hiding spot and she had to learn to swim in order to escape. Also she was hard-working because she had to make some potatoes, get some muskrats, and she had to work in the fields. As you can see Harriet Tubman was a very important person because she worked hard, saved others, was helpful, saved animals, and was free from slavery.
